Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Authority releases the Sonoma Climate Mobilization Strategy
Last week, the Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Authority released the Sonoma Climate Mobilization Strategy. The Strategy supports the Climate Emergency resolution adopted by the RCPA Board in September 2019. It includes sections on decarbonization, carbon sequestration and ecosystem services, resilience and adaptation, and equity and community engagement and includes input from a wide variety of agencies, non-profits, municipalities and businesses.
You can find great information about what is already happening in the county and what the county plans on doing next. It may be a great resource for identifying areas of potential collaboration between SSU and local communities, including efforts to secure grants and contracts.
