Dustin DeMatteo is a Programs Coordinator who works with students, residents, and sustainability experts to uncover needs to kick-start community and culture transformation in Sonoma County. Dustin believes that your daily acts to grow food, save water, conserve energy, reduce waste or build community generates local resilience and beneficial connections in your community. He has worked at Daily Acts for two years and converted thousands of square feet of lawn into drought-tolerant and edible landscapes, as well as, installed greywater and rainwater systems throughout the region.
Dustin graduated with distinction from Sonoma State in Energy Management & Design within the Environmental Studies & Planning Dept. in May of 2015. He also serves in a number of other roles including the Director of Farmster and a Board of Trustee member for the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito & Vector Control District.
